尿苷-5'-二磷酸鼠李糖,UDP-β-L-Rhamnose

UDP-β-L-Rhamnose is a pentose sugar that is used as a research tool and an activator. It has been shown to be an inhibitor of ion channels and protein interactions, as well as a ligand for certain receptors. This compound has high purity and can be used in the study of cell biology, pharmacology, and immunology.

UDP-beta-L-rhamnose is a UDP-L-rhamnose in which the rhamnose portion has beta-configuration at its anomeric centre

UDP-L-Rhamnose, also known as UDP-gal or UDP-rha, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as pyrimidine nucleotide sugars. These are pyrimidine nucleotides bound to a saccharide derivative through the terminal phosphate group. UDP-L-Rhamnose is soluble (in water) and a moderately acidic compound (based on its pKa). Outside of the human body, UDP-L-rhamnose can be found in a number of food items such as malus (crab apple), cinnamon, silver linden, and european cranberry. This makes UDP-L-rhamnose a potential biomarker for the consumption of these food products.
