氨多索韦, Amdoxovir

A reverse transcriptase inhibitor potentially for the treatment of HIV infection. In vitro studies have shown that amdoxovir may be an effective option for treating people for whom the NRTIs(nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors) lamivudine, emtricitabine, zidovudine, and stavudine are not working. In one such study, Amdoxovir was shown to act synergistically with zidovudine in vitro and the combination prevents or delays the selection of thymidine analogue and K65R mutations.
